Today, we wrap up our readings from Genesis with chapters 48- 50 as we finish the story of Joseph, his father’s death, the forgiveness of his brothers, and his death. Here we see Joseph fully forgive his brothers without obligation, along with the continuation of the lineage that leads to Jesus.

In addition to this history , It also shows me how dysfunctional families have existed since the beginning of time .
For real! Second verse same as the first!
Jacob’s different blessings to his children are fascinating. Even with that many children he can see their personalities being different and knows what God will do with their lives. Genesis was a wild ride and I can’t wait for Exodus!
